CZ is producing Scorpions at such a rapid rate that the most recent import models include a “World Legal” trigger pack.

The inside of the trigger pack has a collar (removed here, but placement indicated by an arrow) that is spot welded to the back of the 2mm hex screw, making it “World Legal.” CZ has a trigger pack exchange program in place, but if you don’t want to wait, here’s something to do instead: banghead: I drilled the weld out myself. Instead of being cheap like I was, buy the carbide tipped drill bit.

On my Lyman gauge, the stock trigger was a sloppy 9lbs +. I’ve got it down to 4/5 pounds with new springs and some careful polishing, and the takeup isn’t bad.

Sling hook points are available on both the carbine and pistol versions, but I prefer QD mounting. This back QD mount was added using an existing hook mounting point, and the new handguard is MLOK, giving you a lot of mounting possibilities.
One screw secures the grip, which is slightly adjustable. I wasn’t expecting to like the default grip, but it’s actually rather pleasant, if a little slick when wet. At the moment, there are few aftermarket grip alternatives, but that will change soon. I’m holding my breath for something better.

The Scorpion Carbine is an entirely new species. The Carbine has a 16.2″ barrel with either a compensating.muzzle brake or a false suppressor, and is based on the acclaimed submachinegun technology that first touched the US civilian market in pistol form in 2015.

The Carbine is completely 922(r) compliant thanks to a number of US-made parts, including the factory’s folding adjustable stock. The newly built forend, which is covered in M-LOK attachment hooks to keep the profile short while still being large enough to swallow most pistol-caliber suppressors should the owner wish to convert it to an SBR for use with a suppressor down the future, is one of the firearm’s best features.

However, depending on where the safety is located, you may be willing to forego the ambidextrous safety in exchange for a more pleasant shooting experience.

Personally, I chose YetiWurks‘ CZ Scorpion grip because I loved the style and the fact that it was color-matched to the same gray as this Scorpion EVO 3 S1.

The various angles that exist are plainly visible. That angle is simply not suitable for a human hand to handle a handgun in the manner in which they normally do. Because the stock magazine release is incorporated into the frame, many people dislike it.
It’s actually fairly simple to use this magazine release.

The one thing that everyone complains about is that it isn’t particularly protruding and can be difficult to hit at times.
As a result, many individuals will buy another paddle-style magazine from HB Industries.
Personally, I have no objections to the magazine release, therefore I’ll likely keep my stock and avoid switching to the pro stock or duckbill style magazine release. They are, nonetheless, excellent choices if you have a limited budget.

The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 is a short semi-automatic gun based on the CZ submachine gun’s most recent iteration.

The CZ-USA Scorpion EVO 3 S1 is a semi-automatic.pistol with a 9 mm blowback mechanism. It’s actually a group of eight models with a variety of colors and magazines to choose from. A fully automatic version of this pistol is used by the Czech military. The civilian variant is designated as S1.

Black, olive drab green (OD green), battleship gray, and field dark earth are the color options (FDE). There are two magazine options: a large capacity 20 round magazine and a low capacity 10 round magazine.
CZ’s design philosophy is based on having the fewest parts possible do the greatest job, as fewer parts equals fewer difficulties.
The front and rear sights are mounted on an 11-inch long Picatinny accessory rail on the top of the rifle. Front and rear sights are available.

Black metal trapezoidal pyramid bases with serrated downward rear slopes are seen on both the front and rear sights. It’s a post sight, not a front sight. The back sight can be adjusted completely. It features four different sight options that must be manually cycled through to find the best aperture.

The handguard on this cannon is made in the shape of a tumblehome. It’s not an M-LOK, but it’s intriguing nonetheless. The handguard’s bottom juts out to roughly the thread, not as far as the flash suppressor’s nose. It rises at a modest slant and then dips back rakishly to the front sight and top rail just above the barrel. A medium-length Picatinny accessory rail runs along the bottom, with a black triangular front.

On either side, there’s a black triangle hand stop and another medium-length Picatinny rail. As an aside, the middle of each tie on all four Picatinny rails is missing, leaving a canyon along each rail. This is significant since it demonstrates CZ’s commitment to losing weight.The gun’s 7.72″ long cold hammer forged barrel is small and compact.

Although the height is 9.4”, the overall length is 16.5”. It only weighs 5.0 pounds!
The CZ-USA Scorpion has an 18×1 threaded muzzle and a 1/2″x28 TPI threaded muzzle with a slotted flash suppressor as standard.
The gun has ambidextrous controls (such as the magazine release and trigger safety) and a swappable charging system.
