Very nice WWII Russian 91/30 Mosin Nagant rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber with Izhevsk Arsenal markings on the barrel and a 1942 date. Rifle includes all original stamped matching serial numbers, including barrel, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate, and is import marked on the receiver. Russian arsenal reblue metal finish in great condition. The bore has a black patch near the muzzle, but it is otherwise extremely nice and bright, with good rifling. The blue is an even arsenal reblue, and the wood is in good condition with few dents and dings; nevertheless, the shellac is peeling off, particularly on the top handguard. Small levels of rust were present in the bore, but a short run through with a boresnake cleared it out well. Except for the bayonet, everything on the rifle matches; it comes with everything you see in the picture.
